XM Bitcoin Cashback — $10.60 per Lot on BTCUSD, the Highest Rate in the Table
Short answer: on an XM Standard account registered under official XM partner code CBT90, every lot of BTCUSD you close returns $10.60 to your XM MyWallet the next day — more than Gold ($9.00) and more than any Forex pair. On the Ultra Low account (BTCUSD#) the rate is $4.20. It starts at 0.01 lot ($0.106), has no cap, and is paid whether the trade won or lost. Before you trade Bitcoin CFDs for the cashback, read the section on lot size — a Bitcoin lot is not a Forex lot.
The Bitcoin cashback rates
| Symbol | Account | Cashback / lot | Cashback / 0.01 lot |
|---|---|---|---|
| BTCUSD | Standard / Micro | $10.60 | $0.106 |
| BTCUSD# | Ultra Low | $4.20 | $0.042 |

Why Bitcoin pays the most
Cashback is a share of the partner commission XM pays on your trading, and that commission is funded by the instrument's spread. Bitcoin CFDs trade on a wider spread than Gold or Forex, so the partner commission per lot is larger — and CashBackXM passes most of it back as a fixed $10.60 per lot. The rate does not change with the Bitcoin price or with the spread on a particular day.
Read this before chasing the Bitcoin rate: lot size
A "lot" of BTCUSD on XM is a specific contract size defined in XM's contract specifications — it is not the 100,000-unit lot of a Forex pair, and its dollar value moves with the Bitcoin price. That has two consequences:
- Margin and risk per lot are very different from Forex. Check the contract size, margin requirement and trading hours on XM's BTCUSD specification page before sizing a position for the cashback.
- Cashback per dollar of exposure is what matters, not cashback per lot. $10.60 per lot is the highest number in the table, but compare it with the notional value of one BTCUSD lot at today's price before concluding it is the best deal for you. For many traders, Gold at $9 per 100-ounce lot is the better ratio; for active Bitcoin traders the $10.60 is simply money returned on trades they were making anyway.
Worked examples
| BTCUSD volume | Standard (BTCUSD) | Ultra Low (BTCUSD#) |
|---|---|---|
| 0.10 lot, one trade | $1.06 | $0.42 |
| 1 lot, one trade | $10.60 | $4.20 |
| 10 lots in a month | $106.00 | $42.00 |
| 10 lots a month for a year | $1,272 | $504 |

Standard or Ultra Low for Bitcoin?
The cashback gap is $6.40 per lot in favour of Standard — the largest gap of any instrument. Ultra Low only comes out ahead if XM's live BTCUSD# spread is more than $6.40 per lot narrower than the Standard BTCUSD spread at the times you trade. Compare the two on XM's platform for your session; the method is explained in Standard vs Ultra Low cashback.
Conditions that apply
- Paid on closed volume, win or lose, from 0.01 lot, no cap.
- Credited to your XM MyWallet the next day; withdraw or use as margin. See how cashback reaches your MyWallet.
- Cashback comes from the partner commission XM generates on your trading; where XM's partner terms exclude a trade type from commission (very short-duration trades are the usual example), there is no cashback on it.
- Independent of XM's own promotions — such as the Unlimited Cashback round of 22 Sep–20 Oct 2026 (now ended), which counted crypto volume towards its milestones under XM's terms. See XM Unlimited Cashback promo.
- Only accounts registered under partner code CBT90 earn it. Add one in five minutes if yours was opened without the code.
CashBackXM is an independent cashback service and an official XM partner (code CBT90). We are not XM, we never hold your funds, and XM credits the cashback directly to your own MyWallet where you can see every payout. Cryptocurrency CFDs are highly volatile; cashback lowers your cost per trade but does not change the risk of the trade itself.

XM Bitcoin cashback — questions traders ask
How much cashback does XM pay on Bitcoin?
$10.60 per lot of BTCUSD on a Standard or Micro account, and $4.20 per lot of BTCUSD# on an Ultra Low account, with partner code CBT90. It is the highest fixed rate in the CashBackXM table.
Is a Bitcoin lot the same as a Forex lot?
No. XM defines the BTCUSD contract size in its contract specifications and its dollar value moves with the Bitcoin price. Check the contract size, margin and trading hours on XM's specification page before sizing a position for the cashback.
Do I get Bitcoin cashback on losing trades?
Yes. Cashback is calculated on the closed volume of every eligible order regardless of its result, and credited to your XM MyWallet the next day.
Do other cryptocurrencies on XM earn cashback?
BTCUSD and BTCUSD# are the crypto symbols in the published cashback table. For any other crypto CFD, check the live rate table on the home page or ask us before assuming a rate.
Can I combine Bitcoin cashback with XM's Unlimited Cashback promotion?
They are separate. XM's promotion is paid by XM under its own terms (the most recent round, 22 Sep–20 Oct 2026, paid by volume milestones at the end and has ended). Partner cashback via CBT90 is a fixed $10.60 per lot, paid the next day, all year. Whether a future XM promotion can be combined with it depends on that promotion's terms — check them or ask XM support.
