CashBackXM Privacy Policy — What We Collect and Why
This page explains, in plain language, what information CashBackXM handles and why. In short: this website has no sign-up forms and never asks for your trading password. We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used, we read the messages you choose to send us, and — because we are an official XM partner — XM shares partner reports with us for accounts opened under code CBT90, so that cashback can be matched to the right account. We do not sell personal data.

Who we are
CashBackXM is an independent cashback service and an official XM partner. Traders who open an XM account with official XM partner code CBT90 receive part of our partner commission back as cashback, credited by XM to their own MyWallet. We are not XM. Your XM account, your documents and your money are handled by XM under XM's own privacy policy, which you accept when you register with XM. This policy covers only this website and the contact we have with you. How the money flows is explained in How XM cashback works.
What information we collect
| What | Where it comes from | Why we use it |
|---|---|---|
| Usage data — pages viewed, time on page, device and browser type, approximate location (country/city), how you arrived | Google Analytics 4 cookies on this website | To see which pages help readers and improve the ones that do not |
| Messages you send us — your name or profile name, what you write, and an XM account number if you share it | Our Facebook Page or YouTube channel | To answer your question, for example to check whether your account is linked to CBT90 |
| XM partner reports — account numbers, trading volume and the commission generated, plus basic account details XM includes in those reports | XM's partner system, only for accounts opened under CBT90 | To attribute cashback to the right account and answer support questions |
| Technical logs — IP address, browser type, page requested, time | Our web hosting server, automatically | Security, preventing abuse and fixing errors |
What we never collect: your XM password or Members Area login, your identity documents, card or bank details, or access to your trading account. Nobody from CashBackXM will ever ask for your password. If someone does, it is not us — do not share it.
Cookies and Google Analytics
This website uses one analytics tool: Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-V0RECW1T2E). It places first-party cookies — usually named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID — that tell us how many people visit, which pages they read and roughly where they come from. We look at this as totals and trends, not as named individuals. We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies on this site.
The pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The site still works without cookies. Google explains how it uses this data at policies.google.com.
Who we share data with
- XM. When you click "Open XM Account", you go through XM's partner tracking link so that XM can link your new account to code CBT90. Everything you enter after that goes to XM, not to us. We may refer to an account number when we ask XM about a missing cashback payment.
- Google. Google processes analytics data and font requests as our service provider.
- Social platforms. Messages sent through Facebook or YouTube are also processed by those platforms under their own policies.
- Our hosting provider, which stores the website and its server logs.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not share it with other brokers or advertisers. We would only disclose information if the law requires it. Some of these providers process data in other countries.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as we need it. Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in Google Analytics, then deleted automatically. Partner report data and support messages are kept while your account is linked to CBT90 and cashback may still be paid or questioned, plus any period required for accounting or legal records. Server logs are kept for a short period for security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, to ask us to delete it, or to object to how we use it. You can always stop analytics cookies yourself, as described above. Deleting data we hold does not delete your XM account or the data XM holds — for that, contact XM directly. This service is meant for adults who can open an XM account; it is not directed at children.
How to contact us about privacy
Send us a message through our Facebook Page and start it with "Privacy request". You can also reach us via our YouTube channel. All channels are listed in the contact section of the home page. If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
CashBackXM is an independent cashback service and an official XM partner (code CBT90). We are not XM and never hold your funds; XM credits the cashback directly to your own MyWallet. Privacy — questions traders ask
Does CashBackXM need my XM password?
No. CashBackXM never asks for your XM password, Members Area login or identity documents. Cashback is linked through partner code CBT90 and XM credits it to your own MyWallet, so we never need access to your account.
What data does CashBackXM receive from XM?
As an official XM partner, CashBackXM receives partner reports for accounts opened under code CBT90, showing account numbers, trading volume and the commission generated, plus basic account details XM includes. We use them only to attribute cashback and answer support questions.
Does the CashBackXM website use cookies?
Yes, only Google Analytics 4 cookies, which measure how the site is used as totals and trends. There are no advertising or remarketing cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser and the site still works.
How do I ask CashBackXM to delete my data?
Send a message to the CashBackXM Facebook Page starting with "Privacy request". This removes data we hold; it does not close your XM account or delete data held by XM, which you must request from XM directly.
