XM Deposit Methods and Withdrawal Time — How Funding Works (and Where Your Cashback Goes)
Short answer: on XM you deposit and withdraw in the Members Area → Funding menu (Deposit, Withdraw, Internal Transfer, Transactions History). The methods you see — bank or local transfers, e-wallets such as Neteller and Skrill, crypto options — depend on your country, and every payment must come from, and go back to, an account in your own name. XM Global's Client Agreement says approved withdrawals are, in principle, processed within one business day; when the money actually reaches you depends on the method, your bank, weekends and holidays.
Where deposits and withdrawals happen on XM
All money movements sit in one place. Log in to the XM Members Area and open Funding. It has four parts:
| Funding menu | What it does |
|---|---|
| Deposit | Add money with a method offered for your country |
| Withdraw | Send money out to a payment method in your name |
| Internal Transfer | Move balance between your MyWallet and your trading accounts |
| Transactions History | A record of your deposits, withdrawals and transfers |
XM deposit methods: what you can use
XM does not publish one list for everyone. The Deposit page shows the methods available for the country on your profile, and each method shows its own minimum, timing and fees before you confirm. In broad terms the options fall into three groups:
- Bank and local transfers — bank wire and, in some countries, local bank or mobile-banking deposits.
- E-wallets — for example Neteller and Skrill.
- Crypto options — may be offered depending on your country.
One dated example: on 5 October 2026, a Members Area registered in Thailand showed Mobile Banking, Neteller, Skrill, Binance Pay and Cryptocurrencies. Another country will see a different list. If you are looking for a local-currency option, check the Deposit page itself — local methods differ by country and change over time, so we do not list them here.
Use a payment method in your own name. The Deposit page says: "please use a bank account registered in your name. Third-party payments may be rejected." XM Global's Client Agreement (clause 72.1) requires every deposit to come from a payment method issued in the same name as your XM account. If XM confirms a deposit came from someone else, it can reject the deposit and charge a USD 50 handling fee (clause 72.5). That covers a family member's card, a friend's e-wallet or any other account that is not yours.
How to deposit on XM, step by step
- Finish verifying your profile. Withdrawals need full identification documents, so it is easier to complete this before you fund.
- Go to Members Area → Funding → Deposit.
- Pick a method listed for your country and read its minimum, timing and fees.
- Enter the amount and follow the method's own steps (bank app, e-wallet login or crypto address).
- Check Transactions History to confirm the deposit has arrived.
How much you need to start is a separate question, covered in XM minimum deposit. If you have no account yet, start with how to open an XM account.
How to withdraw from XM and how long it takes
Go to Funding → Withdraw, choose a method and an amount, and submit. These are the rules in XM Global's Client Agreement (version checked 7 October 2026):
| Rule | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| Processing time | Approved withdrawals are, in principle, processed within one business day (clauses 72.3, 74.7). This is XM's processing time, not delivery time: banks, payment providers, weekends and public holidays add their own delays (74.8). |
| Your name only | Money goes to a payment method in your name. XM does not pay third parties (69.4, 72.3). |
| Back to the source | XM may send funds back to the same sender and by the same method you deposited with, and may ask you to use a different method (74.5). |
| Documents | Full identification documents, plus anti-money-laundering documents if XM asks (72.3, 74.4). |
| Open positions | A withdrawal cannot push your margin level below the required minimum (72.3). |
| Fees and limits | XM can set withdrawal limits and fees, and may ask you to pay bank transfer fees (74.3, 74.9). Check what is shown for your method before you confirm. Full breakdown of XM withdrawal fees → |
These terms are for XM Global accounts. If your account is with another XM entity, check the client agreement for that entity. CashBackXM has no part in any deposit or withdrawal. Moving cashback out of MyWallet
Cashback from official XM partner code CBT90 is credited to your XM MyWallet the day after each order closes — for example $9.00 for 1 closed lot of Gold on a Standard account. It is wallet balance, so the same Funding tools apply: use Internal Transfer to move it to a trading account, or Withdraw to send it out under the rules above. We cannot hold or delay it. The full walk-through is in XM cashback in MyWallet.
Do deposits affect your cashback?
Not directly. Cashback is paid on closed trading volume, not on the amount you deposit, so depositing more does not earn cashback by itself. Three things do matter under XM's partner terms:
- Bonus-funded margin: when part of your margin comes from bonus credit, cashback is reduced proportionally. See XM bonus vs cashback.
- Very short trades: trades lasting 3 minutes or less, and positions closed with "close by" or "multiple close by", earn no cashback.
- The account: only an account opened under partner code CBT90 earns it.
How to get cashback on your XM trading
- Open an XM account with official XM partner code CBT90. Step-by-step guide →
- Fund it through Funding → Deposit with a payment method in your own name.
- Trade any size from 0.01 lot. Cashback for each closed lot lands in your MyWallet the next day — no claim, no cap. Rates for every symbol are on the rates table.
CashBackXM is an independent cashback service and an official XM partner (code CBT90). We are not XM and never hold your funds; XM credits the cashback directly to your own MyWallet. Trading CFDs on leverage carries a high risk of loss. Cashback lowers your cost per lot but does not change the risk of any trade.
Cashback on every lot, straight to your MyWallet.

XM deposit and withdrawal — questions traders ask
What deposit methods does XM accept?
It depends on your country. The Deposit page in the XM Members Area lists the methods for your region — typically bank or local transfers, e-wallets such as Neteller and Skrill, and in some regions crypto options. Each method shows its own minimum, timing and fees.
How long does an XM withdrawal take?
XM Global's Client Agreement says approved withdrawals are, in principle, processed within one business day. That is XM's processing time; when the money reaches you also depends on your bank or payment provider, weekends and public holidays.
Can I deposit to XM from someone else's account?
No. Deposits must come from a payment method in the same name as your XM account. Third-party payments may be rejected, and XM's Client Agreement allows a USD 50 handling fee when a third-party deposit is confirmed.
Does XM send withdrawals back to the deposit method?
It can. XM's Client Agreement lets it return funds to the same sender by the same payment method used to deposit, or ask you to use another method. Withdrawals always go to a method in your own name.
How do I withdraw my XM cashback?
Cashback from partner code CBT90 is credited to your XM MyWallet as balance. Use Funding → Withdraw to take it out, or Internal Transfer to move it to a trading account. XM's normal withdrawal rules apply.
Does depositing more increase my cashback?
No. Cashback is paid per closed lot of trading volume, not on deposits. If part of your margin comes from bonus credit, cashback is reduced proportionally under XM's partner terms.
